The Thabaphaswa campsite can sleep up to 20 people (one or two groups only) but tents must be provided. A farm-style reservoir/swimming pool provides for swimming in summer.
Five additional camp sites were developed just North of the Thabaphaswa Camp Site:
Blinkblaar-Wag-‘n-Bietjie (with braai area and washing up facility)
Doppruim (with braai area and washing up facility)
Rosyntjiebos (with braai area and washing up facility). We have tried to make Rosyntiebos as wheelchair friendly as we could.
Mispel and Moepel sites (these two sites make use of facilities at Rosyntjiebos site)
All the sites nestle under beautiul trees that offer sufficient shade for two 4 X 4 vehicles with rooftop tents or 4 X 4 tralers or caravans. There is an additional flush toilet at the sites and hot water showers at Thabaphaswa Camp site. Visitors can also arrange for camp showers to be supplied.
Drunken Parrot Camp Site:
This camp is past the Pomphuis cottage on the road to “Christoph’s Dam” and is situated under the dam wall next to a stream with lovely trees, a lapa, flush toilet and parking for 4 or 5 vehicles.
